Ok for my swap from the lq1 to l36 I need different fuel lines. The shop doing it hasnt made any progress and I'm taking the car home to finish myself. So what is the best way to join the lines? They had me pick up compression fittings from lowes. They are brass. I have a set to join at metal and plastic. The 5/16 and 3/8th. Is there something safer to use? Will compression fittings hold the 60+ psi

compression fittings are designed for hundereds of psi of pressure..

I have never gotten to carried away with hardlines and used hose clamps on rubber with a stainless braid around it on all of my fiero projects. Its simple, cheap and serviceable.... and you can hybrid the idea by putting hard line inbetween.

Example.. fuel rail to rubber to hardline to rubber to car fuel lines.
