This just started happening today and I'm not exactly sure what it is. Whenever I step on the gas to say pass someone on the high way the engine kinda chugs up and down. Any thoughts?

Like FFDP said or maybe a TPS, but I'm thinking it's an ignition/tune up as well.
What do you drive? And do you have MSD coils on it?
Could be a nasty vac leak. Especially check the connection under the supercharger, if you've got one. Scan for codes - that's your best bet. Can be done for free at any auto parts store.
MIne was doing that once at 145,000 miles. I was able to tune it out with the JET DST software. I also did two fluid and filter changes about 15000 miles apart with a bottle of LUCAS tranny stuff. It has completly cleared up and holds good even under boost in 4th on the highway.
All of these suggestions are good but i had the same issue as this guy and it was a clogged CAT. Bill and i put on the headers and de-CAT'ED it and all the power was back and no more snail performance. If it just started i can tell you that it will get worse and you will end up with no acceleration. Best way to solve this issue for good is to get rid of the CAT all together and have the code tuned out. Or buy a set of Speed Daddy Headers and put those on along with the race pipe. I'm willing to bet that your CAT is clogged. Tell me if I'm wrong but you are also experiencing a huge loss in power in every gear and it may even feel like a transmission issue but its no (just feels like one). As for diagnostics about this issue, you will not be throwing any SES lights as there is no SES code for a clogged CAT (you can debate what it is all day long but in the end if it's an electrical or sensor related issue you would be throwing a code).
I was going to say what ^ this guy said. Or it could be a bad 02, either way I would ditch the cat.
EDIT: A bad 02 sensor doesn't always throw an SES light. I had the same issue as hes describing a long time ago and was even dumb enough to take it to a tranny shop. One day while scanning we noticed the 02 would throw a zero value. Replaced the 02 aned never looked back.
