OK, I drained all my dex cool out of my 2005 GT with 60,000 miles. I flushed with water for proably 20 minutes while waiting for thermostat to open and flush engine coolant out also. I then refilled with water and prestone super flush and drove it for about an hour with the heater on. I then redrained system and flushed for another 20-30 minutes with car running. I then refilled with water and that is how it sits for now. I want to make sure i did everything i could to get all that red sludge/film dex crap out of my car before i refill with prestone 50/50. Is there anything else i should try or is that basicly all i can do.

If there is an answer some where else i was not able to find but will look there if link posted

    Thanks

I have a heated 2 stall garage. Never gets below 50 deg. I do live in Pa, but no need to worry.

    Thanks though.
