    I have been behind other people during the day who have had their lights too dark where the light output was definitly impaired. So I do understand your concern.

    I have seen people who have just done a chit job on the work and its way darker than it should be. If it's done right, it shouldn't impair that much, plus, you could just get new bulbs like I did, GE 20% more bright or whatever and people can see fine.
