These are great replacement bushings that provide way better response and handling then the factory rubber, but the only issue ive had is that the dust boots on one side popped out of the lip they are pressed into after a month of driving. Frankly theres nothing I can do about it either, theres no way to complain to moog about it and the only thing rockauto can do for me is having me send them back for a replacement, and im not going through the ordeal of pressing these out and leaving the car apart waiting for a replacement. While im sure the ball joint in the bushing wont have an issue as the boots are still covering it pretty sufficiently, it is now exposed to the elements like moisture and air which can cause rust.

    1. Buy one from Advance
    2. Take out defective bushing
    3. Install the one from Advance
    4. Send defective one back to rock auto
    5. Recieve replacement from rock auto
    6. Put the new one in the box from Advance
    7. Return the new one to Advance for refund.

And more of a reason you should of just ordered them from advance online, used a coupon code and picked up in store.... Easy warranty exchanges.

Sounds like a really shady way to advertise their product. Makes it seem better than it is.
This just happened to me. I didn't know this post existed. Should have looked.

ZZP tubular arms are more then what I want to spend so I heard of the Moog Control arms so i ordered them through Rock Auto with the discount code. When they came in I saw the rubber bushings. I was pissed also when I was told over the phone that the problem solver control arms come with "premium" bushings which are better then stock but do not come with the upgraded better bushings. I would have gladly paid more for a set if they had the option to buy with the upgraded bushings.

I wound up buying both front and rear upgraded bushings. I just installed them in the new control arms yesterday. This week they will go on the GP.

I bet the only time you'll see the new spherical bearing unit in the control arms is after they've sold all of the urethane bushing arms that they have all stocked up.

make sure that it is dry and clean and use RTV to re-adhere the boot to keep crap out if you want

Passing this along on here as well. But the Moog LCA's do not come with these bushings. These are the CK series that I have. one bushing was actually installed incorrectly from Moog.

These are the problem solving bushings pressed into the Moog LCA

These bushings are night and day. Much more responsive than the rubber bushing.

What is the diameter (in MM) of these bushings? I want to adapt them to my car and Moog does not list it. Mine are 60.4mm on one side and 70.4 on the other.. mine are shot...

 the moog bushing are not installed wrong from the factory... They use the same stamping for both left and right sides, so the bushing only goes in ONE way, so it's flipped on one of them. It's the same on OEM and Dorman LCA's

Here is my street review of the Moog control arms with the good upgraded bushings. Not the "premium" ones they come with.

I like how the handling feels. When I do get on the car a little it feels like less movement.

They do make the car vibrate more which I don't mind.
    No noise from them either.

Mine weren't, they were both lip side down. When they were installed upside down (by me, I thought it didn't matter and I noticed after I was done with the job), the driver side began to pull out.

Think these could be pressed in with a Ball Joint press? I have the HF set and have pressed may BJs in/out with it.
