For coil overs, ZZP resells HTMotorsports, aka arrautmotorsports. You can skip the middle guy & get them direct, and buy the kit, with or without struts. The kit takes about 3 min each to assemble, and could be used with whatever modified (spring perch removed) w-body strut you like.

For struts, excel-g has a special handling strut, to my knowledge not available in gr-2. If you want to go real low & are worried about killing the strut, cut & thread the piston, same way some people without coil overs do.

Im not trying to lower the hell out of my car or any thing, I have voltang springs and agk's now and I think my struts are starting to get weak it it feels like, so I was gonna go the coilover route cause then I can adjust how I please, and I really don't all that time and make my own. Im not that worried about how much they cost but I was trying to see what everyone else is running and pick between the only few choices I have for a w-body.

There is definitely not huge aftermarket support for the 3000GT, Stealth, or GTO. I quoted the production numbers the other day and there were more Grand Prix's made in one year than 3000's, Stealths, GTO's made total over 9 years of production.

I remember hks building a badass one and having turbo upgrades and real coilovers available. There was also the bee racing one that pulled 9's in the 1/4 thing was pretty sick.

At one point HKS was one of the only players in the game. The 3s aftermarket is a lot like the GP/W body aftermarket. It is limited and mostly just small vendors that cater to it.

Either way, my point still stands that just because a platform is dead doesn't mean new things can't come out for it.

It takes something special to get things rolling.

    Sorta like this: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthr...ts-and-dampers

    http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthr...ter-correction

    Here's another fun page: http://www.kaplhenke.com/collections/240

Reality is, no one tries to make a W body corner, thus the market isn't there.

But trying to make a 30 year old Volvo wagon handle? Yeah, makes plenty of sense right?

On the other hand, look at the numerous turbo kits for 3800s, and all of the parts to make the transmission handle abuse. That simply isn't a thing in the Volvo world as people tend to live with what they've got, and keep swapping in other stock Volvo parts. Some swap in something different, like say a T5 or T56. Or just be nice to the thing, but who does that?
