New to this forum, I have been a long time lurker and a long time Pontiac driver. I just thought I'd ask if anyone else experienced this on their car.
My Grand Prix is 2004 it has 207K miles, runs great and is super reliable transportation. Here are the warnings that all came up at the same time.
I'm wondering if I lost an ABS sensor or similar? The car doesn't seem to mind but the warnings are annoying.
    thanks,
    Michael

First, just check your brake fluid level. It was probably the first thing you checked, but I had to say it.

This is pretty typical of a broken wire that runs between your ABS system and one of your front wheel hubs, or a bad wheel hub. There are other possible issues, but the two I mentioned tend to be the most common. An ABS scanner will tell you specifically which wheel or part of the system is malfunctioning.

I did check the brake fluid first. It was full. I have not pulled any parts yet to check for a broken wire.

It will actually show Low fluid level for that these need to be scanned, but it's probably going to end up being able to read a wheel sensor for one reason or another.

I plugged in my handheld scanner and only had one code P0449 (Evap system). What should I look for to find the wheel sensor problem?

You have to scan the ABS system it's a different scanner.

Bummer I only have the code reader. Any idea of what I should check on the wheel speed sensor?

Can't really tell you what to look for without knowing what wheel it coming from or if it's a system fault.

Otherwise you can just make sure they are all plugged in, even remove the connectors and clean them if you really wanted too.
