Heres what I posted on s/w asking for some advice and hoping that someone with one of these cars would go out a measure for me but they didn't. Aside from this post, I was also looking heavily into the koni strut inserts like what sandman has on his car. They have some that are shorter than stock by a fair amount. You would just still be restricted to a sleeve over style but it would get you pretty low.
I'm looking for some coilovers to go on my pontiac grand prix, but they have to
come from a different car because no one makes them for me. I need a starting
point to try and find some and I'm probably going to have to mix fronts and
rears from 2 different cars. The bottom mounts are the most important, I need
strut style mounts for the front and back with 3in from center to center between
the mounting holes in the front and 3.5 inches center to center for the rears.
The space between the mounting tabs needs to be 1.5 inches.
So far I
think some options could be 90-94 eclipse, 95-99 neon, and 00-03 maxima
coilovers for the front and 93-01 impreza, 94-99 celica, 92-95 mx-3, or 07-11
camry for the rears. I just don't really have any way of knowing for sure and I
cant seem to find lower mount measurements anywhere. If anyone knows if those
would work or has an idea of any other cars, any help would be greatly
appreciated!
