Thread: AWESOME SSEi ABS Problem

I've been really busy lately (or lazy), and haven't really checked into this. My 01 SSEi is being awesome and throwing ABS/TC lights. I haven't yet checked it with HPTuners to see the codes or whatever. Would these tell me which corner caused the issue? Basically I'm assuming its a wheel bearing sensor?

What happens:
Drive for a bit > hit brakes anytime > abs engages > DIC throws error "Service Stability System"

So basically,

Will HPTuners give me a different code for each corner? Or how do I go about determining which one to replace?

could be the abs module, if the abs is just kicking in for no reason. the code will lead you your problem tho.

I'd be interesting in seeing if HPT reads abs codes. Try it.

I guess I will give it a shot when I get off work today.

I have an otc 9450 and it read certain cars abs codes it's pretty nice and was only $80 on amazon.

HPT should tell you on the Bonne. It tells me on the 00+ Regal.
