    so got my u1301 to go away and now since i can read abs codes, i am getting c0040. right front hub issue. well is there a difference in the hub in these car or is it the same as all the other? Can anyone recommend me one? And maybe any install advice. I know i can do it but if there any tricks

    I would check the wires first, make sure one is not broken. If you dont find anything, then replace the bearing.


    Otherwise the replacing of the bearing is just like on any other grand prix/regal w-body.

    Remove caliper/rotor and axle nut, 3 bolts hold the bearing to the knuckle and thats pretty much it.

    yeah that what i kinda figured, was gonna run the dmm accross the wheel see what i got, believe im looking for 100mv. Any good replacments? timken?

    Timkens for the win. But they still fail. I drive hard and have had 2 sets of GM go out and a timken in 100k. GM under warranty and then the timkens have a 3 year warranty so all good there as well.
