hey all, Im putting togeather a parts list for my comp-g, needing to replace all four struts and mounts.
Im gona reuse my stock springs for now, I read the thread about the 04/05 gp haveing a different strut/sway bar setup then everything else. Im also interested in the kyb excel-G for the FE4 monty (http://www.grandprixforums.net/kyb-e...ech-45867.html) as im useing my stock springs that will have sank alittle, this should work great. but will they work? or will have have to change my A arms?

Stick with the CompG Struts, IMO. Part numbers 88955411 and 88955413. I think they might be making GR-2s now for the 04/05 that don't require new LCAs, but I prefer the CompG struts over them. CompG struts are stiffer than the base model. I paired mine with some DNA springs and couldn't be happier with the handling and ride, as well as price.

Be careful about the rear top mounts, a lot of companies make a universal replacement that is a pile of crap, when I changed mine I got some and ended up keeping my stock rear mounts. They don't get any weather/moisture on top since they are in the trunk and are probably fine anyway, no bearings to wear like the front.
