I have never been happier with a lowered car ever. I just went to DNA springs and AGXs.
SPend the money or regret it later.

That said its definitely not too extreme, and the ride is not bad.
    1) a grand prix is a pretty low car to begin with, so you shouldnt be trying to clear parking blocks or curbs when you park. give yourself some room, stop pulling that far in.
    2) the wheels are pretty far back on these cars (long front end), so scraping the front on some goofy driveways is possible stock.
    3) all lowering springs are going to make all bumps more pronounced, it's a part of the game.

I think that’s one the reason these cars don’t ride very when lowered. There so long. I have been in many lowered smaller cars and they all ride better than my grand prix.

If you want something you can daily I'd say get SSC's with GR2's. I have them on my car and honestly I think it should have come stock that way. Its stiff enough to be fun while not killing you and even handles a car full of fat asses pretty decent. Like its been said, these cars have a long wheel base so going over speed bumps, even parking garages will mean you have to plan carefully or you will scrap. now its not terrible but its going to make you cringe.
2001 GTP - 3.4" pulley, Headers, welded in flowmaster mufflers, Tune, Intake, SSC/AGX, Engine/Trans mount spacers, GMPP F/R Swaybar, 17" Rims, Built trans: 3.29 gears, 2500 stall, ect ect (built by Billboost)
