    Hey forum,

    I am considering upgrading the front brakes on my '99 GPGT cause the stock ones kinda suck. I am wondering do any of you know of any brands that make calipers and rotors for our cars? I am still in the research stage of this right now. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    tgarison

    Thanks matt5112, any other brands, I noticed companies like Baer, Willwood, and Stop Tech don't make anything for our cars

    If you needed that stuff then you would have already contacted them and have some stuff in the mail.

    Read big brake thread. Consider options, make purchase.

    SSBC makes brakes for us
    SSBC:: A127-6

    But your better off buying some F-body or Corvette calipers instead.
    98 GTP-Mods? Yeah, lots of them
    2009 HEMI RAM- Mods are in the works!!

    PowerSlot cryo-treated slotted rotors with Hawk HPS pads being squeezed by FBod clamps. For that extra little bit, stainless steel lines and synthetic DOT III fluid.

    There's something I learned about this place, the folks here tend to flame on anything they don't have. Moral of the story is simple: Quality parts cost money. It's your money. Spend it how you wanna and d* what anyone else has to say. They don't like? They can buy your parts for you.

    x2 on they cryo treated Centric Powerslots. I have those with EBC Redstuff pads, on an F-Body setup. Incredible stopping power.

    I remember there being something about getting monte carlo caliper brackets that move the caliper out like an inch and allow for a bigger rotor. could look into that

    Its been like that for a while I think.

    I use Centric website to look up calipers and cross reference them.
