I want (need) to replace all my struts on my 00 GP. Does anyone know if the Monreo Quick struts that rockauto sell use the sense-a-trac strut? Or just a cheaper one. Or what is better to use?

    Thanks!

KYB/GR2s - got about 20K miles on the set on my 05 and no noticeable degradation. I'm pretty sensitive about it. I think the OEM units on my G8/GT with 10K are starting to loosen up.

Go with Rockauto. Bought lots of stuff from them over the years. Order processing and shipping is excellent. The one time I had a problem with a new hub/bearing, they sent another one and made sure it was from a different supplier.

LOL noone has answered his question.

It sounds like he has already settled on a quickstrut and wants to know which struts come on them, if it is sensatrac or not.

Just curious, what makes monroe junk? It's pretty much the only shock/strut I've seen repair shops use. Not that it means anything though.

because they are cheap, that is why they use them.

buy something for a little more money, IE KYBs, and they'll last longer and perform much better.

I've always heard that Monroe's perform way too mushy for our suspensions. Moreover, I've heard from multiple users of Monroe that they cause noise from the top mounts. I have KYB's with 35,000 miles and still going strong.

Monroe makes the best strut mounts. There struts are fine but like Pauley said they will feel mushy and floaty.
I think just for a stock height DD, there ok, but might as well get the KYBs, not much more.

    Rough? No.

A little frimer then stock? Yes
There going to give the car a little more sporty feel. You might feel a little bit more of the road but nothing like a lowerd car.
