I have a 2002 gtp, I just replaced both front axles and both front struts including the springs. Why does my car feel like something is bottoming out or rattling when i hit a bump? I checked the tie rod ends and the sway bar everything looks good.

i has noise when i cranked my wheel quickly right to left while parked, and while driving over bumps and hard turns. i changed my lca's and its all quiet now. seems as the bushing were all bad, and maybe the ball joints as well.

Then it came with the top mounts.

Start checking for play in things like ball joints, it could even have the feel from motor mounts, etc.

I was kinda thinking motor mounts, because it only does it over bumps. The car drives great now after the strut and axle replacement. the end links and sway bar doesn't have any play in them.
