hello, I just bought a 97 gtp for 1000 bucks as a parts car for my 2000 grand prix se which currenly looks exactly like the gtp except for the fact that it seems like the back of the GTP is lower. What im wondering is what is difference in the suspension that makes it lower than the se? It doesn't seem like the front is lower though. I took the tires off and i looked at the struts on both cars and they look the same, i didnt measure with a tape measure like i should have, but im guessing the coils on the GTP would be shorter? what im looking for is just looks really and maybe the slightly better handling in corners. I dont mind if its a little more rough of a ride eather. Thanx alot.

all of the models got the same suspension. if it looks lower then its sagging from being worn out.

what you need is some sway bars, trailing arms, wider/lower offset wheels, and/or lowering springs.

okay thank you ill look into that. If i get 1.5" drop lowering springs i shouldnt have any problems with the stock struts?
