^ Lol ya that's just a 2 piston sliding caliper
yup that be the sight, haven't updated it in a while....but with the next race coming up in September we have some serious changes coming up, 24 gallon fuel cell, Gen 5 top swap, GXP brakes front and rear, and lot's of little stuff that nickle and dime's us to death
$500 limit is for perfomance modifications to the engine. rim's, tires, brakes, paint, rollcage don't count towards your budget!!!
Hate to clog up this thread with it besides the brakes I'm still trying to modify. might have to start a whole new thread to answer questions about it if peole are currious!!!
^^ i was waiting for the time when you finally join this forum.
now I officially started a new thread in the members rides section
When you coming back to Louisiana? We have that track in New Orleans called NOLA park which is bad ass!!!!
NOLA Motorsports Park - New Orleans, Louisiana race track, go karts, performance driving schools
I officialy got the first rotor sent off for the front today to be machined at the macine shop, hoping to get it back next weekend to continue with the mock up. Center bor being taken out to 70.3mm and lug bolt holes slotted to 115mm. If this works out then I'll be moving to the rears on the V2 cts-v swap.
Then I can take all my GXP front and rear setup and swap it to the LeMons race car
dezebe1's Front mammoth CTS-V rotor machined and ready for install on the GP:

20.5 lbs per 14.5inch rotor not bad, hope you guys put some thought in reinforcing the control arm tabs and machining some solid subframe mounts.
this setup is going onto my personal car.....continued mockup begins tomorrow and more pictures with rotor, caliper, and wheel all mounted up to check for interferance, if all is good then I'll be picking up the rest of the rotors to send to the machine shop. Wish me luck :th_winking:
Some more pics for DEZEBE1. God these are freaking sexy as hell!

Going to need a 1/16" wheel spacer.
after putting on the rotor and caliper I will need a spacer for the front wheel since I'm getting contact between the caliper face just below the v writing and the back side of the spoke. other than that I only have 2mm clearance from the top of the caliper to the inside of the wheel itself, super tight fit. I didn't mock up the rears since the caliper is the same 4 piston style as the V1 CTS-V only it is a 14.3" so it should clear the tire no problem....starting to get excited that this was easier than I thought thanks to lecram25's suggestions, big shout out to you and my fellow racing member on our team Nate for performing the necessary machine work for the rotors. Stay tuned for the completed front and rear brake setup, and feedback on it's performance
Wow.... U need to wear a foot ball helmet to keep your face out the windshield. What was the total price tag I was seeing 600 rotor and hat and that was per side
I picked up the front rotor for $330 each, my employee price from the dealership i work at, the rear rotors are $130 each, front brake pads $270 rear pads don't know yet plus i still need to get all the hardware ie. pins and retaining springs + I still have to look into braided ss lines front and rear. picked up all 4 calipers for $300 so it's still not cheap but mind you I'm splitting the cost between 2 cars cause the GXP front and rear will be going onto the race car. By the time it's all said and done I'll be $1400+ into this
Looking good there Daniel.... Love the Large Rotors....
After looking really close I notice what appears to be the original bolt hole and new bolt hole seems to be some space, is that the picture or me?
