Ok I flipped my motor mounts last night & I found out while I was inspecting the mounts, that both my Dog Bones were bent towards the drivers side. (Guessing the PO hit something on the Driver side). I got the Dog bones back on, but the passenger side one was a PITA to get the bolt through the Bushing. I am probably just going to either order some Intense or ZZP Dog Bones, but my question is. What would bent dog bones cause. Because I notice my car vibrate over 50 MPH (it worst under acceleration). Although flipping the motor mounts made it a little better. Also will it make you fell you trans upshift & downshift. Also if I let off the gas quickly after accelerating it jerks me forward a little. I don't think it's trans related because I just replaced the trans & it was doing this before I replaced.

    One more question.

Also sometime when if I am going under 40 MPH, and go 1/2 throttle you hear a clunk (that probably someting else).

Bent dog bones can cause a variety of problems. First and foremost it will put pre-mature wear and tear on the lower mounts, so take a look at those and they are probably in need of replacement. If your drivetrain is out of alignment vibrations can occur.

For your other question, what type of clunk is it?? Is it a shutter? does it sound like its coming from the suspension or transmission?

Yea I think the drivetrain could be out of alignment, because when the guy replaced my transmission, he said I was going to need a wheel alignment because he had to move the cradles & mounts around to take the trans out. How do I get that aligned & how much usually does that cost? Also where are the lower mounts & transmission mounts located so I can take a look at them?

IMO It sounds like a suspension clunk, but it also seems trans related because when I am cruising at that speed (35-40 when the OD is not enganged yet) & I give it a little gas you can feel the torque converter lockup. But the clunk if very intermittent, it does it on occasions. I am going to drive it tomorrow going to school & see if it does it.
