I have a 99 gp gt I was plasti dipping the wheels the other day and noticed there is a rubber bushing on the control arm on both sides that is cracked and split open. Does this have any negative effects? Thanks for the help

    Post a picture.

The circle bushings have a cut/slot in them when new, but if they are pulled through the metal arm they are bad.

Bushings are in place to keep wear and tear at a minimum between the two metals.
