Would having a aftermarket head unit be the reason that I cannot get the car to enter programming mode? I have tried numerous times and cannot get them sync'd. The fob is supposed to be giving off signal says a gm dealer. This is for a 02 gtp.

Mine would not work til I closed the glove box and shut the light off.
