its 2 bolts and 2 nuts tops. came right the f out. the thread sealer takes some force to get moving but they come out.
good time to clean your seat belts if they are dirty too.

Mine been tapped for 2 years now, when I evee amp the door speakers thats changing
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 8.0
its rather simple. stick your fingers under the seat bottom in the middle of seat ( where your ass would be) at the bottom foot area. and pull it up, do the same for the other side, then remove the bottom seat.
now you can see the bolts for the seat belts they also hold the seat back in, some have 2 studs on the ends by the doors with a 10 mm nut also holding the seat back in.
if your 04 + and have the full folding down back seat there should be 2 bolts or screws holding it up as well. drop the seat backs to get to these screws.
after the seat back is out, theres a few tree clips holding the edge of the rear deck cover, remove those, snake the seat belts out of the loop they are in, left side (pass side) look for a wire for the 3 rd brake light, unplug it, then remove the deck / speaker cover.
speakers unbolt from the top side. if the back window is tinted be careful you dont tear it up. the speakers covers are tight to the window when coming out.
i soldered the new plugs on from inside the trunk. found it easier that way.
Awesome. Thanks al lot scotty and all the other guys for chiming in. I just had a kid and my wife is pissed im getting new speakers hahah. Time to go price match some speakers from walmart and amazon!
