    i am replacing the front speakers in my 04 with polk components... do i just hook up the tweeter where the current tweeter is or do i run through the new crossovers?

    You must use the crossover provided by Polk. You can cut the filter off the old tweeter wire and re-use it if you'd like though.

    do i just run the wires that currently run into the woofer into the crossover then? will it still send the highs to the new tweeters then ?

    Hrmmm. You need a set of wires to run from the amp to each speaker. In your case, two wires run to the cross over. Then you have 4 wires that extend from the cross over to your tweeter and mid. Two for each.

    The wires that are already in your vehicle lead back to the harness behind your factory head unit. Unless you would like to re-use those then steer clear of them.
