I am thinking about getting either a new gauge cluster or just an overlay (97 GTP).. Does anyone know where to get either? I found some white gauge overlays on ebay but honestly I think it wont look good..

At the dealer we used either Model Electronics or United Radio. Both offer exchange service. The dealer cost was about $175 and I don't know if they'd sell retail at that price or not.

If you go that route be warned. They'll charge a very hefty core charge to your credit card until they get the old unit back.
