Alright I have an 04gt2 and the power lock on rear driver side door won't work... Won't go up or down. All others do besides that one. Any suggestions? I'm guessing a good start is taking off the door panel

I had that recently. I changed out the lock mechanism and still had the same problem. Turned out to be a broken wire in the loom from the door to the body.
If it happens to be the lock actuator, it's one piece with lock mechanism. Not separate, at least on my car it was.

Ok... I would get back there and look around but the vapor shield (that plastic stuff) do I pull it back or what?

peal it off carefully, you want to press it back up there when your done inside the door. if it wont stick, rubber cement works.

If you pull it gently and use a razor to slice the sealer (Not the plastic). This way there is still some on the door and the plastic. Then when you're done press it back together. That's what I did

the wires tend to break in the accordion part to the door, where the hinges are.

un plug the actuator, put a test light to the plug, work the lock button. if it lights up its got power. the lock actuators go bad too.

my back door actuator only locked, and made a awful sound when unlocked but failed to unlock. so i unplugged it lol some day ill change it.

Can you access the wires inside the loom without taking off the door panel?

if your talking inside the door, no. but taking the door skin off is easy.

if you need to get to the other side of the wire harness aka car side from the door the inside kick panel needs to come off too.

I still haven't fixed this haha... I can't seem to figure out how to take the accordion thing off so I can see if the wires are broke.

just pinch it and wiggle it out, its got a lip that seals and makes it water tight.

Ahh alright I really haven't looked at it that hard. It is annoying as hell not having it unlock and lock. Now that I'm done spending money on it for the season so It's a good time to get the free stuff done

I am about to do as Scottydoggs suggested, for the rears anyways. I have looked online between rock-auto and amazon, the rears have me baffled. Rock auto does not have anything for the rears and Amazon shows the sctuator seperate from the latch. When I opened up the door and pulled it out, I thought is was one piece, can you separate the actuator from the latch? Remember on older cars where the lock mechanism was near the B-pillar? Now they are so far back they are hard to reach.

I may try the dealer and see what they thing looks like and see if I they can be separated. If someone knows, please chime in.
