I don't usually have issues here in MI on freeways. Most are posted at 70, and I do 73-75 in the right or middle lane and don't have any problems. If I do, I move all the way over to the right and let them go by.
Now in the city there are always drivers going 5-10 over the speed limit, and you will get pulled over in certain areas only doing 5 over. A road near me is posted at 35 in one section, and goes down to 30. Right where it goes down to 30, people dont like to slow down, cops are always hiding using radar on the 2nd or 3rd street down. I'm always seeing people get pulled over. Unfortunately that's my route to school so I always do like 31 or 32 in the 30 zone and get tailgated constantly since it's a one lane each way road and no passing allowed. Then what do I do? lol. See it's city roads that are the issue for me.
Well one time I was on van dyke highway (70mph) and it's a 2 lanes, and everyone was doing 80 in both lanes. So I did 80 that time. Also on I-94 there are areas that are 55 mph, and some are 70. People just do 70 the whole way through (in all lanes so I do too) but I haven't seen anyone pulled over from that. Usually the right lane is doing like 65 in the 55 zones so it's not too bad.
