That is just for day time lights I thot? I think you have to mess with the sensor in the dash in the upper center part of the dash by the little red light. I for got what you have to do to it.

hmm, i thought just pulling the heatsink out behind the switch is what you need to do.

With the cars that click when you pull the DLR fuse you have to mess with that senser to make the lights manual. It senses when its dark and turns the lights on at night.

If you can stand having only your park lights coming on automatically, then do what I did: Alarm_Headlamp_Flash

This "mod" is so easy that even those that suck at electronics shouldn't need a friend to help.

Sorry for posting an alternative method.

Besides, the resistor method didn't work for me (kept the headlights on all the time), and I have read of others with 2002 model years having the same problem.

Read them many a time when I was doing the same thing last year that the OP is doing, thus how I came up with the solution I used.

Your first link doesn't work on all cars. Your second link has nothing to do with the topic. Your point?

I just pulled the DRL fuse and unplugged the connector right above the parking break. This module is the part that clicks when you remove the DRL fuse. Remove the plug and you now have manual lights and no clicking.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

The DRL fuse is the one in the fuse box right?
and where is that plug located exactly? do i need to remove any plastic trims?

Yes, the DRL in the glove box, fuse box. No plastic trims need to be removed, just that carpet board piece that attaches to the "knee basher", if your car still has it.
The module is on the driver side and it will have two plugs. Unplug the one on the right. If you look in the picture, that spring is the parking brake spring. And that larger module to the right, I believe is the Body Control Module. After you remove the DRL fuse, you should start hearing the clicking (if your car is on) and that will lead you to this module. In this picture the 2nd plug is already removed.
