Alright so my grand prix doesn't have bose (unless someone changed the speaker covers) and the two front speakers are gettin kinda blown but the back ones work really good. And by really good I mean it literally sounds like I have subwoofers. I used to have 2 12's, and I know that these stock speakers are really bassy. They're delco. Either my speakers in my old car just sucked or these are really good, which is it? And there's only 4 speakers correct? Two in front and two in back?

Old car probly had crappy speakers. I cant remember what my car sounded like with the stock speakers because Im running Kenwoods all the way around now but if I remember correctly the rears werent terrible until one went out. And there are 2 - 6x9s in the back, 2 - 5 1/4s in the front doors, and 2 - 1in tweeters by the pillar on the door. This is for the non Bose sytem if I understood you correctly.

yeah alright. dont think the tweeters work. but i had 25 dollar for a pair sony speakers in my integra, was on a budget when i had to replace them a year ago but now I have a job so ill get better ones this time. but were the front ones as bassy and good as the rears? i dont want to buy speakers for the front and have them be even worse than the stock.

Heck no! (Although they lasted longer. lol) Mine always sounded like they were kind of cracked or something. Never liked em so I just replaced them with 5 and 1/4s made by Kenwood. I never cared for the tweeters anyway so I pulled them out. I know there are people that have made brackets and modified the spot for the speaker to fit 6 and 1/2in ones.

Yeah my front driver is completely ****ty sounding the passenger just isnt great sounding but the rears sound great and theyre bassy but i dont think they can handle all the bass my music has like a subwoofer could so i dont turn it up much. Ill probably get like one twelve or something some time.

Christmas I plan on getting two front speakers and a head unit.

    Invest in one of these!

That is a HUmount and is available at Grand Prix 1992-2003 - $65.00 : Humount, Quality Mounting Brackets
(Im assuming you have a 2003 or older GP as I did in the above posts without even realizing it)

It takes up the empty space and makes the head unit look like it belongs. IMO.

Haha. yea. If you dont have the money for it you dont really need it. I just got it cause there was a group buy going on at the time and I figured since I had some extra cash why not.
