So i just picked up a 04 comp g with 89k miles and the overhead is not working is there anything impeticular i should look for when trying to fix this like a specific fuse or wiring or what not. i do notice a wire that is run along the front of the engine that goes into the coils. it looks like it must of burnt out in the wire harness and was rerun but im also thinking it has something to do with the remote starter that im assuming was installed aftermarket. ill get a pic of it tomarrow

You have a display over your head? Sweet!

Heads-Up Displays our cars have. I've never seen this overhead display you speak of.

The Heads-UP displays soldiered connections seem to break sometimes. Easy fix if you take the time to get at it.

04+ the heads up display likes to tear it's spring out of the plastic. In the How to section there is a fix for this. Not to be confused with the 97-03 dim hud issue.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

That wire that runs to the coils is probably the tach wire for the remote start.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.
