I currently have Sony Xplode 5.25 speakers in my front doors (yeah, yeah, Sony sucks, I know) and matching 6x9s in back. I have two Sundown Audio E8s that will be installed whenever I get boxes made and get an amp and a line converter. I'm using the factory head unit.

I'm looking for suggestions on tweeters. I want them in the factory location on the doors, and I want something that looks as well as sounds good; something that matches the look of the Sony speakers would be cool.
I am considering bullet tweeters, trying to avoid anything with the usual perforated grill. I'm looking for a balance of form and function; I can look at pictures all day but I want your advice on what actually sounds good as well as fits the look I'm going for.

I'm also considering putting a second pair of tweeters in back by the 6x9s, or in the C-pillars, and wanted your opinions on that idea.

I'm not looking to go obscenely loud, just want good quality sound as well as an appearance that will match the rest of my car. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I would ditch the Sony's up front and replace with a good set of component speakers to replace them, they already have a seperate tweeter.

I actually have 2 sony xplodes 6x9 speakers. I got them as a gift, they're really not that bad, but the xplode component speakers are, and so are the subs. Sony head units are awesome though.

My speakers are all 4-channel. I'm satisfied with the sound, but the highest and lowest ranges are somewhat lacking. I think the subs will remedy the low range, so I'm looking for some quality tweeters for the high. Also, my factory speakers were blown when I got the car, so I'm guessing the tweeters aren't in the best condition.

Google audioque. Check out their tweeters, I bought the $30 set. I have a mono amp and 2 12's from them as well. Solid customer service and product.
