Hey guys, I did some searching but could not find anything similar. I have an 07 GXP that I put an aftermarket DDM HID kit on right after I bought it in 10/2010. Then, about 4 months ago, my headlights just stopped turning on. Found out it was the headlamp relay thats located in the fuse panel right behind the battery and it had failed. I replaced that and all was well for a while, until last night when it fried again in spectacular fashion. This time the headlights wouldn't turn off and I found that the relay literally smoking it was so hot! I got another relay from autozone (thank God for lifetime warranties) but clearly this isnt going to work long-term. Is the only solution to buy an aftermarket HID relay kit? The DDM hid kit I have currently just plugs right in to the factory connections. Anyone else have this problem/any other solutions?
