    PART ONE:
Is it possible to remove the original 01 Steering wheel (without the stereo controls) with a 2002 or so Steering wheel (with controls)

if so (has anybody done it) what all wires are nessasary (i know all of them) but are there special connecters in the stereo for them (i've got the stereo with the EQ built in)

    is this conversion worth doing??

    PART TWO:
Is it also possible to intergrate a Heads up display into my 01 GT

and again with anybody doing such thing, is it possible, if so, help with wiring (so it's functional) would be of great help

    Thanks

You could install an 01 wheel with controls. May be easiest to get a whole column vs trying to run the wiring down through. Then you'd just need to connect the steering wheel connector to power for illuminiation, and ground then connect the green wire that would feed the resistance to the radio and you'd be set.

The hud..yeah..it's in a how to. The search button can be your friend.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

for the radio controls on the steering wheel, you need another clock spring too, you need one with 2 wires leading down the column. it un plugs next to the air bag plug from the clock spring. then that plugs wire seems to just goes to the radio via the the back of the dash.

if you ever shopped for a clock spring, like i have, you will see little notes, w/o radio controls, or with radio controls. pic tells the story tho, 4 wires 2 on the top 2 leading down the column.

just found this link may help, i didn't read the whole thing, but its the right idea. How-to: install steering wheel w/radio controls it shows the 2 clock springs.
