    got 8 layers of seal n peal on mine think i'm getting rattle again....
    98 Camaro SS 46k LS1, T56, All Stock. 00 GMC Sierra 2wd ECSB 106k Lm7, 3.73s tow needs lowered..
    01 Grand Prix GTP "201k" ~111k on motor, ~46k on trans, headers, 3.4 and a tune to come.

    Adding more layers significantly DECREASES any measurable gains. If you don't want rattle...find where the parts are vibrating together and stop it at that point. Resonating panels are different, that's where you throw on a sheet of second skin/seal peal/dynamat(whatever product you want). Covering 25% of the panel lowers 90% of the resonation to a lower frequency. Weight is your friend when killing out resonating panels. Vibrations between two objects is something different though.

    I have a feeling there's another purpose for your setup I'm just making sure others know!
