It seems that is the spot for in a gp trunk. I don't know why, but that's where I get the best sound. Placed the box all over the trunk and this was the best.

Memphis higher end is amazing! i have had a few different setups from memphis:

1st) i had two 12" memphis power reference with a 500w power reference amp and it sounds pretty good for the price you pay!

2nd) i then up graded to two 12" Memphis M1's and kept the same amp. SQ got a little bit better so i decided i would go all out!

3rd) i then got two 12" Memphis MOJO in a 2pc. 5cu.ft. box being pushed by a Memphis 4kw with two Kinetik 2400s. with this setup in my grand prix i hit a 151.9

4th and final) i am now running with one 15" Memphis M3 with a Memphis power reference 1000. with this setup in the trunk i hit a 148.2

Memphis as amazing products but there higher end is a little pricey...but still cheaper then the W7s

im actually looking at selling my set up (15, box, amp) pm if youd like

151.9 in a trunk is very hard to do. What mic was it measured on? Term lab or Linear X? Either way its very impressive. I know Team Stereo One (Before they got banned) used Mojos for numerous world records. And man can those things take some juice. They had a quad 1ohm 15 with 2500D amps to each coil and it would hold. Bad thing is the Mojos get sloppy the louder they get. But a 150db daily driver is awesome IMO.
