so i have an 02 gtp and it has the bose stock amplifier and speakers. wanting to run an aftermarket head unit. heard some really bad things about using a pac harness to keep the bose intergrated. wondering what your guys thoughts are and any way to help. would it osund alright if i just wired up using a standard wiring harness? if not suggestions pointers anything to help a guy out thanks guys. main reason im sick of running a stock head unit.

i just used the stock harness that came with my HU from sonic electronix. I ended up having to cut the pink from the four pin connector and solder it to the ground. all my speakers work fine.

It's a 7 pin connector and it goes to remote power on to power the car's amp. Search on me and magic dust...you'll find buickman104's pics.

As for the pac..I used one and it was ok back in teh day. I recently used an Axxess in my current Regal and it was cheaper, nicer and easier to setup.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
