I guess what I'm pointing at is at some point you hit a ceiling or performance wall. Basically, diminishing returns. Design is just as important as application and power. These days it's trendy to just throw lots of power at something without any forethought because people have seen it on youtube.

Now everybody thinks they're SPL monsters A lot more goes into those setups than just a big ass amp. Real competitors should get recognition for that. They're def. not idiots after looking through accomplishments.

So...again, getting back to what the Op wants/needs. I highly doubt 2kw vs. 1.5kw is gonna make/break his install...so why even be concerned about .2V? And why is .2V even brought up? Majority of people don't even realize anything is going on with their setup until it exceeds 20% distortion!
