Would the GM Nav system work in an 04 Grand Prix or does it have to have the Monsoon System? I saw the back of the nav system and it looks like the standard GM plugs.

What would it take for one to upgrade to this stereo?

It's probably more money than its really worth. I suppose a 100 garmin is just as effective.

    Just a thought.

Well, the unit itself is selling for about $600 these days. Plus you'd have to buy the disc if it doesn't come with one. I don't even know where to find one. Then you would have to pay the dealer $100 to unlock it so it will work with your car.

I'd stick with a standalone GPS if I were you.
