GTPJOE u cant run the 6x9's off the amp for the sub, the mono amp is wired on the output on the back of the head unit for bass, u would have to make sure your head unit has pre outs for front, rear, and sub. If not u would have to get those high/low frequency converter and tap off your speaker wire, and then disconect whichever speakers u want to amp from the headunit, and run new leads to the amp.
Ha! My 2 12's and 1k watts killed anything that came into my class. And I was built for everyday listening. 150db on termlab mic @42hz. It was mainly built for drive by spl which is where the mic is placed 6ft outside from the vehicle. Placed 2nd in the world @ world finals only to be beat by 3-12L7s and kicker ZR1000 by .1 db. Now I could o on for days about W7s if you want lol. They were the loudest and cleanest subs I have heard to date. Not to mention that we put them in 3 different vehicles before they were laid to rest. 2-MTX1500Ds finally killed them lol. But hey, to each his own!
I want to see proof that you placed 2nd in the world @ world finals.
2nd a 12' 9500 is louder,as how clean it is....its a 50/50 In all a MtX 9500 out does all specs on a w7.
W7 was a top champ and still is one of the top but there is always better.
To me Jl is good but way over rated and over priced.
If i had my choice of sub right now and i was in spl id get a MTX RFL that is one bad mofo.
Mecacaraudio.com > 2003 season > DBSPL1 > Event results > John Goshko Team Hertz Nashville TN. Theres your proof. And I never said that there wasn't better But in TN I did go undefeated so take it as you will. As for price I definately agree with you there.
