Nope, the big nob on the right (seen in pic #4 in closed position) lets you adjust the screen so it doesn't hit the vent. It will remember the position you set so it never hits the vent!
My specific screen is the only one I know that will do that too. Not saying i'm an expert on them, but the 7" I had before knocked up against it every time.
I doesn't hit the trip computer or the buttons, but it does block them. That doesn't bother me because if i'm watching the screen i'm not watching the trip computer anyway.![]()
