so for now im just going with the amo and one sub till i upgrade and get 2, but for wiring.... ground wire...where did u guys hook urs?
how did u guys fasten ur stuff down
Do you have your subs wired at a 2ohm load and your amp bridged? Your subs are only 150w RMS each and your amp puts out 350w RMS at 2ohms. Do the math and you'll see you won't be under powering them if you hook them up correctly. My guess is you have them wired as an 8 ohm load and they are only getting about half their RMS wattage.

yes that is fine to do. that amp should be perfect for either one sub at 4ohm which is the only wiring option (200w going to a 150w sub) or 2 subs wired at 2ohms (350w going to 300w worth of subs). Forget what I said about "bridging" your amp basicly automatically does it.
In the diagram above, your amp would be on the left hand side.
Basicly what I'm getting at is that is a very good amp for those subs. Don't waste your money buying a new amp because you won't be any happier. Its either your enclosure or your subs that you are not satisfied with.
theres ONLY 2 ways of hooking them up...
parallel
and series
as for the ground i have mine on the pass side strut mount works good make sure you take the paint off your grounds tho
Yes, at least try it. I bet you'll be happy. Alpine is a quality amp, Fosgate P1's are...meh. But the enclosure is what makes the sub sound good. Try wiring both like the 2 ohm diagram. If your still not satisfied (but I think you will be) I bet your enclosure is not built to the subs specs and is to blame.
