    recently we just got a boat and it has two rf puches in it, but they are not working. i found the amp and it doesnt seem to be powering on. the amp i an alpine mrp350(yes i know they are underpowered).
    any suggestions?
    i know this is very vague but i need u guys to ask me some questions about it, because i dont know where to start..

    power...ground... remote wire all making good contact? is all this stuff marine rated?

    02 GTP with mods 05 GP for DD

    no seriously right after i post this i went out and looked some more and i turns out the power wasnt connceted to the battery... lol
    but i dont see any inline fuse anywhere do i need one?

    prolly not as long as they dont get wet. moisture may kill them.

    most everything in Alpine amps is gold or nickel plated as far as connections go so it should be ok. if nobody else told you yet you definatly need a fuse or circuit breaker near the battery.

    ok so now i firgured why the amp isnt turning on now i need to know what kind of inline fuse to get???... the wire says 8awg so does that mean 8 gauge? and the amp is 350 watt

    60-80 AGU fuse with a holder that accepts 8 gauge wire should be fine.

    well we wired it up and the amp was on but the subs didnt go so my uncle and moms bf just said the subs and amp are mine now so i took them out and now they are going into the trunk of my car
