97-03's wont have that issue... the damned chime is somewhere hidden under the dash...

I did not lose my chimes. The hud will not show radio info with an after market deck.

Awesome that's great news there are like three slits in the dash next to the steering column I just kinda figured it was where the chimes came from and I know someone on this forum said they knew someone who tapped into the HUD and it worked but he didn't know what wires he used but he would find out and reply back and never did, it saddened me that was like the only hope
