Mikey, do you have your pictures hosted anywhere? Can you post a link to them?
Also, is the plug/harness from a regular GT DIC different from the digital GT or GTP harness? All that I can find mentioned is the number of wires (18 vs 24), and in this write-up (
97-03 GP Digital Drivers Information Console Install ) buddy says, "
I went ahead and just cut the old connector off and stripped the wires on both the body harness as well as the digital DIC pigtail", so I'm guessing that they are different?
Here you go kid...HOW - TO :th_winking:

Re: Bench Test Driver Information Center (DIC)
The analog DIC has an 18 pin connector. The digital DIC has a 24 pin connector. You don't mention what year GP you have. My 2000 GT did not have both 18 and 24 pin connectors so I had to splice the 24 pin per the table in the post in the previous post There's also a write up in the "how to" section. If you have a 97 to 99 GP you should have both connectors already in the body harness, you'll just have to dig behind the dash to find it. If you have that then you should also have the connector should you decide to add the HUD.

I've already read that thread a few times and it doesn't have the answers to my questions.

I have a 2002 GT. I don't plan on ever adding the HUD (they look butt-ugly IMO). So '00+ possibly don't have both connectors then. Thanks for the info.
Now to figure out the bench testing.....
