For my fiance's birthday, I bought her a Crimestopper EZ-4 remote start and keyless entry system for her 2005 Grand Prix. I worked on wiring it up this weekend, but had several questions about the wiring. Hopefully, you guys can help me out since I don't know these cars very well.

Trunk Pop - Is this a positive or ground circuit? Do I need a relay for this circuit? The unit sends a positive pulse and don't know if I can just tap into the wiring directly or need a relay.

Start Activation - Not sure what this wire does. It appears it connects to the factory keyless module or "the host system's Auxiliary channel output wire), but it says it sends negative pulses when activated to trigger a remote engine start or stop. Can anyone shed any light on this? (This is possibly used for door locks?)

Door locks - Do the door locks use a negative or positive trigger signal to send to the relays?

Ignition - In the wiring diagrams, there is a note on all of them saying there are 2 different pink ignition wires that both test as ignition, but only one is the true one. In looking at the back of the key cylinder, I could only see one pink wire for ignition. Is that one fine to tap into?

Thanks for your help everyone. All of the other wiring is done and ready to go, but I wanted to get solid answers on these questions before I proceeded.
