Well got my lights fixed...turns out it was a fuse, go figure. Never seen a blown fuse cause so many problems at once. Also took the DIC out and took it apart, everything looks good but it still dont work, just flash's. Also noticed once I turn the key to the run position its about 9 seconds until it begins to flash, unless I start the car and move it then it begins as soon as I move the car.
anybody?? cmon this cant be the only time this has happened...
Thats flipping crazy it was a fuse, I really am not liking all these electrical issues im having with this thing. I hope this pcm fixes it. Did you pull all your wheels and check your wheel sensors, I looked at the schmatics and every entire thing goes to the dic.
When you were at the car wash did your pressure wash the engine? If you did then you more than likely got some water into some of the connections to the abs module or harness which is probably why you are getting all these issues
.
Mh dic just started working out of the blue today. I have no idea what to do with this thing.
Yeah i know. I suppose ill let you know if my pcm fixes my abs and tcs light. they still could possibly be linked.
The TCS is because of the abs not working, I can almost guarantee it! I had wires broken on a wheel sensor, and my abs light was on, and the tcs as well, when I changed the wheel bearings (speed sensors) They both went off, and now my tcs works properly again. There was a thread here somewhere that explains how to test you abs system for bad wires and such.
ya, the dic thing, could all be a computer (pcm) problem. Do you know anybody with a car that is the same as yours? (that is close by) a cheap test would be to swap out the pcm, but to do that you still gotta do a CASE learn. so check into the cost of that in your area. I searched around, when I got my INTENSE PCM, and most shops were $100 and up, but I got a little GM shop to do it for $46.
