Guys, that thing is there so your high beams work.

Anyone try using their high beams with the metal shield out?

My high beams do not do anything right now though! They equally suck!

Yea... They High Beams to me are no different then the low beams... I just took mine out the day before yesterday. Pretty much destroyed the metal thing. When I tried to get the last one, the metal thing fell inside the headlight. fml.. it's ok got it out. I will let you know how they are when the roads are not wet from the snow. Just from looking at the front of the car, they do look brighter.

Hmm... perhaps its because you're all driving around with basically your high beams on...

would love to see pics of before/after, and high/low beams. my shields are actually put on from the inside attached with two screws. getting them out will trash em, so i wanna be sure of what im getting.

I f*** up the torqz screw/bolt the one thats on the headlight to adjust up & down.
when i was trying to adjust my hids. after i bought em, the dumbasses that installed em didnt adjust em so i said f*** em ill do it myself, shouldnt of done that haha..
i adjusted the driver side one but when i tryed to fix the passenger side one i f*** it up since it was being a B**** & i did it with some pliers, yeah that was the prob. but its would lossen up even after I sprayed some wd40 on it. so now when i drive around the freeway & well everywhere they all light up like F*** haha..

So yeah the Question now is..
will taking off this metal shield fix the prob like temporarly? :O
or what should i buy now?

    thanks

Sorry to say this, but if you were oncomming traffic against my other car with bi-xenon headlights I would have no issues in letting you guys see what you are doing to other drivers on the road. I plan on putting bi-xenon headlights in the grand prix this summer, using projector headlights built for them. If you want inexpensive improvement get a good set of projector fog lights and install a hid kit in them (blazer brand, clear lense with a cutoff shield)

I took the metal shield out and I really didn't notice a big difference to tell you the truth.

Were signs illuminated now as they do when your high beams are on?

Yes somewhat. But I can still tell the difference between when I have low as compared to high beams on. A little difference...

9007 is the wrong bulb to do this mod with.

The reason i'm so against this is I personally want to ram every car off the road that blinds me
