yes it is a 2min job. f unplug and pull out the bulb. untwist the black retainer that the bulb sits in. then use one of your fingers inside the whole where the bulb would be and just press up and kinda pull. you will feel it move a little i just rocked it back and forth till i was able to pull it straight out. its not that delicate so you should be alright. and just make sure you put it all back together right after you take it out-- and i the bulb may be locked in by the black retainer so either way it still has to come off befor you can get to the shield. if you have any other ?'s let me know
