Exactly what i was getting at. I mis-spoke earlier, for a quick fast note, a cap would be drained instantly and then, yes, you will be over-running your battery. With a long steady note (not very heavy) it's not gonna hurt to have a Cap. Honestly, my advice with that would be to wait on it, see if it affects your accessories, and if you need to go ahead and wire one in parallel with the amp (with its own, separate ground of course).
