SO, you can either avoid pressure build up or add weather stripping so that part doesn't move.

There isn't any science behind stopping a unique rattle. Find what is making the noise, and prevent it from doing that with the least amount of sh*t possible.
Thats what i was saying you adjust the latch to where it barely locks then it holds super tight
