I don't have auto delay headlights on my GP so I thought I'd try to figure out if I could add it to my car. I looked through the manual and I don't see that its even an option in 2000.

Did any 99-03 GPs have auto delay headlights? By auto delay headlights I mean when you shut the car off the headlights stay on for a period of time you set it for. My Denali has it and I really like it and it would be handy at times.

If any GPs had it, what would it take to add it to my 2000 GP SE?

I've been thinking about this a little and found that the 2000 Pontiac Bonneville has twilight sentinel so what would I have to take from a Bonneville and adapt into my GP to make this all work?

So what makes this twilight sentinel work is the question?

I just looked through the 2003 manual thinking the newer GPs may have gotten the option but now luck. It looks like we have to go outside of the GP family to rob parts. Maybe a Buick would offer and easier to adapt part than the Bonneville part. Not sure this is all just a starting place.

If anyone has knowledge how the twilight system works and what parts are needed to make it work let me know.

I was reading on a Buick site and there was talk of maybe having to reprogram the BCM to add it to a Buick that didn't come with it to accept it. I'm afraid if that is needed I'll be out of luck since there was never an option to have it on the GP where as with the Buick it was an option and uses the same harness, just a matter of telling the BCM that its on the car.

I don't know any of this to be sure, just the way one post read. I've read plenty of posts online that were wrong, so this could be wrong too!
