Got in my GP this morning, threw a cd in and left, had no sound, turned it up, still nothing, switched cds, tried FM/AM, AUX in, absolutly nothing. all the controls work, but i have no sound.
im going to check the fuses at lunch, but im wondering if theres a second fuse for power output?
or if anyone else has run into this issue before.
its a base model radio, non amped, with the rear speakers tapped for the LOC to the subwoofer amp.
*edit*
left rear speaker wire butt/cap had been rattle off by the subwoofer, and being that the connection are tucked up in the hole in the rear deck it was grounding out on the chassis and throwing the internal amp into protect. sodered/taped the wires and all is well
